In the previous episode, you heard me talking with a guest in my office about the principles of becoming a real estate agent.  Well, in this episode, he asked me to go through the steps for becoming an agent in Mississippi.

Perhaps the steps (process) are different in your State; however, some of the process steps are rather universal.

I hope you enjoy listening to this episode.  If you have questions, comments, or suggestions, please send them to me.  I really depend upon your feedback to help me know if I'm on the right track with these episodes.  Many more are planned, but I would like to hear from you with your ideas on how we can continue to make this a more beneficial podcast.

Send feedback to my email or leave comments here on this blog.

And, please subscribe to my podcast if you haven't already.  Tell your friends to listen in, too, so the programs can continue to get better.

Hi!  My name is Norma Cother.  I am the managing broker for Crye-Leike Realty, Inc. in Tupelo, Mississippi.  If this is your first time to join our podcast, I issue you a warm and hospitable "welcome."

In this episode, I talk with a gentleman who dropped by my office to ask, basically, "How do I become a real estate agent?"

Maybe you have wondered the same thing.  Or, if you are a realtor already, perhaps you have had a person to ask you that question and you just want to get another slant on how you might answer.  On the other hand, you might know someone who is considering becoming a realtor and you can refer them to this episode to learn the basics.

I hope you will take a few moments and leave feedback here for the podcast.  As an alternative, please feel free to send me an email message (just click this link to generate an email).

If you haven't do so already, please subscribe to this podcast via iTunes so you can receive each episode automatically.

Dennis Seid
, Business Editor for North Mississippi's premier newspaper, the Daily Journal, stopped by my office one day to interview me about my podcast.  He was writing a lead story for the Business Journal insert in the newspaper.

He asked me all about my podcast, how I thought to become the first realtor in North Mississippi (and, perhaps, the entire State of Mississippi) to create a podcast, what it takes to put one together, and what impact I felt it will make upon the business climate.  When he finished asking questions, I figured that the best way to show him all about this podcasting phenomenon was to put him right in the middle of a podcast.  So, I turned the tables on him and made him the interviewee.

Dennis told me about his current position with the paper, his background and what brought him to this point, his "take" on the impact of real estate upon the general business community in this region of the country, and his perspective regarding the explosive growth occurring in businesses here in Northeast Mississippi.

It was a pleasure having Mr. Seid as our guest for this episode.  It is my hope that many of you will gain valuable information and ideas from this program.

I encourage you to leave comments here on the blog page.  I welcome your questions or suggestions for improvement.  As an alternative, feel free to email me.

In case you have not done so already, I invite you to subscribe to this podcast via iTunes.  Pass this information along to your friends and get them to subscribe, too.

I depend upon your feedback, so please let me hear from you.  Until next time......
